This week has been British Science Week, which is a national celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. This year, the British Science Association partnered up with ‘The Plastic Tide’, a charity made up of ocean, science and technology enthusiasts who are passionate about cleaning up our oceans of marine litter and plastic.
One of the many advantages of being a small school is that we can take part in whole school trips, and this week, as part of Science Week, the whole school went to Greatstone Beach for the day. We took part in litter-picking, but also did some sketching and sand sculpting amongst other things.
Thank you very much to the parent helpers who came along and helped to make this a day that was enjoyed by all.
