Dinosaur Egg

After lunch on Monday, Mrs Brown heard some strange noises coming from the field and she felt a large shadow go over her head. As a class we went to investigate and discovered a gigantic egg of some sort in one of our vegetable patches! On our way to the egg, we also found some dinosaur footprints made from green, dinosaur slime. We all guessed that a dinosaur egg had landed on our very own school field! There was a note from ‘Rex’ attached to the egg, asking the children to take care of her baby. We carefully carried the heavy egg back to our classroom to keep it warm. As a class we decided that the egg needed to be kept safe in a nest. We have been very busy making a nest using sticks and mud. Each day we will be checking on the egg to ensure it is safe. We do hope Rex is a friendly dinosaur.
