As dedicated as ever, Mr Rumbold has been using his daily exercise time to work on the roundhouse at our Forest School area at the top of the school field, with some (safely distanced!) help from Mrs Rickards.
The roof is a reciprocal roof, where each pole rests on and is supported by the one before, resulting in a self-supporting construction. Next steps are planking the roof ready for membrane and turf, and weaving the walls.
Mr Rumbold has missed having his usual Forest School gang of helpers, and is looking forward to being able to show the children the structure properly soon.
