Academic Results

We are proud of our most recent achievement outcomes, and received a letter from Kent County Council Education and Young People’s Services congratulating us on them.  The full text of the letter is below.  Excerpts include:

It is very positive to see that the school has attained well above average results at Key Stage 2 with 71.4% of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined.  I would also like to highlight your success in the attainment of free school meals pupils, 60.0% of whom reached the combined expected standard.  It is also good to see strong value added scores in writing.

Pupils achieved well in the Year 1 Phonics check (90.9%) and at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage (80.0%).

We appreciate that these…are due to strong leadership and a sustained effort to remain focused on school improvement.
